Crafty Herbal Knitter

I’m so excited because some yarn I ordered last week arrived yesterday. I ordered some Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino from Yarnmarket in two shades of purple. I am going to knit them into a sweater for Princess A out of  one of my knitting books, Baby Knits Two. It’s such a cute pattern. I can’t wait to get started on it. I really went back and forth on what colors to pick. The book has it in light pink and dark pink for the girl sweater and light blue and dark blue for the boy sweater. The two colors I chose are primrose and dusty lavender. I think I’m going to try to find some time today to get started on it!

I am also getting ready to start making Princess A some longies out of my Disaster Yarn. I was working on a gauge swatch for it this morning. I hate doing gauge swatches. I am always so impatient! I just want to jump right on in with the pattern. I learned the hard way several years back that it really does pay to check your gauge!
